The comedian
Who he is
Sean Collins is a Canadian comic of thirty-two years, living in the UK — one of the rare acts who can walk into a hundred-seat club or a theatre and make both feel like the same room.
He built the act the long way, on the road, and it shows: an easy, unhurried style that turns the mundane over until it’s magnificent, and an instinct for the digression that never loses its thread. Good To Be Here is the new hour — getting older, moving countries, and the small daily indignities nobody warns you about.
Online he has found a second room. A back catalogue of clips has pulled a following of more than a million on Facebook and 148,000 on Instagram, with one set past seven million views — an audience that now turns up in the seats.
